Customer Service Representative 

Temprite Climate Solutions is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join Team Temprite.  This position is working out of our Cumberland office, is part-time, requiring flexible hours, Monday to Friday, between 7am to 4pm (part time hours, plus covering sick time, vacations and high volume time periods). 

 

This role is an integral part of Temprite and would suit a person who thrives in a fast-paced environment while reacting well to short notice changes.  This position requires excellent customer service and communication skills (and be a skilled liaison between our internal and external audiences – technicians, suppliers, customers, industry partners).  The ideal candidate would excel at utilizing all forms of sophisticated communication technology (inbound and outbound):  phone, text, email, apps, Microsoft Office and our Service Titan Database.

 

Customer Service Representative Functions

  • Utilizing CRM software (Service Titan) for scheduling, invoicing, purchasing and communications
  • Communicating with Technicians and Customers on timelines and tasks
  • Inbound and outbound calls, texts, emails across multiple platforms
  • Assigning and Scheduling Technicians daily schedules; control of the Dispatch Board
  • Functioning within a paperless organization
  • Attending regular Training
  • Invoicing and Collections
  • Booking technicians for maintenance and repairs, and tracking parts/receiving
  • Experience in the HVAC industry or trades is an asset, but we will train the right candidate
  • Other duties as required

Comfort Advisor 

 

Temprite Climate Solutions, a Heating, Cooling, Ventilation and Electrical contractor operating on central to north Vancouver Island - is seeking a Comfort Advisor to bring their dynamic energy to Team Temprite.  The Comfort Advisor is an integral role within Temprite who works with our customers to provide options for new system installations for residences and businesses.

About You

You have a proven track record in sales and excellent customer service. You thrive on being a valued member of a high-performance sales team, working with clients of diverse backgrounds and ages.  You are well versed in the sales cycle, have a talent for discovering client's needs and a passion for providing options to fulfill those needs.  Your previous experience in the trades will provide a technical knowledge that will complement your excellence in sales.

Required Qualifications:

  • Preference for this position to be based out of Qualicum, Parksville, Comox Valley or Campbell River – travel is required
  • Be a natural community/relationship builder with a passion for sales
  • Willing to learn and execute Temprite Sales Strategies
  • Experience in out-bound sales and self-generated leads
  • Knowledge of the trades (Mechanical-related preferred)
  • Attend courses and learnings such as TECA, Rebates and Financing
  • Valid Driver’s License with a good driving abstract
  • Have a passion for building community, making connections and ensuring people feel like they matter
  • A criminal record check is necessary

The Role Expectations:

  • Responding to emergency (No Heat, No AC) and non-emergency sales calls in a timely manner
  • Actively build relationships in the community, seek out leads and referrals that will convert to sales
  • Accurately produce and present estimates for residential and commercial installations
  • Ability to convert Temprite-provided and self-generated leads to confirmed sales
  • Planning the install, including supervising scheduling of Technicians, overseeing the project
  • Systematic follow up communications with Temprite’s existing and future customers
  • Networking within the community, including networking events/groups and sponsorship events (including seeking out networking opportunities)
  • Revisit customers after completed projects to ensure all aspects of Temprite’s Guiding Principles have been exceeded:
  • Stay up to date with and put into practice latest product knowledge and technology
  • Stay up to date with and put into practice latest rebate requirements and opportunities
  • Stay up to date with and put into practice current and new workflows and procedures as they are presented
  • Flexible for weekend and evening availability - such as weekend tradeshows, accommodating customers that are only available in the evening for a quote visit, after business hours networking events, etc.
  • Building positive relationships with other Team Members

Temprite is Hiring for their Sheet Metal Department:

Labourer with the potential for an Apprenticeship, and also

Hiring a Sheet Metal Journey Person

 

 

Duties:

Apprentice/Laborer: Assisting the Sheet Metal team in the field and the shop building and installing ducting and ventilation.   Temprite is a diverse company and at times, this position may have the opportunity to work with Refrigeration Technicians, Electricians or our Duct Cleaning Crew.

SM Journeyperson: With a Red Seal ticket, performing design, building and installations sheet metal for HVAC applications.

These positions will require an individual who is comfortable on ladders and working in small spaces.

Our team of trade-qualified HVAC technicians are the foundation of our construction, retro-fit, service and maintenance departments. We are committed to the sound commissioning and start-up of all of our mechanical systems that can then be serviced and maintained by our in-house team of skilled technicians.
